Principles of personal data protection

It is of great importance to protect your personal data and to keep the right to privacy on the Internet. Please read our privacy policy. Our goal is to explain to you how we handle your personal data, what information we store and how we use it.

1. Information on the processing of personal data and their protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us, which is why we always proceed in accordance with the relevant legal regulations and international standards.

In connection with the adoption of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of European Union of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), which, as of 25 May 2018, applies to the processing of your personal data by our company Hodinky 365 s.r.o., VAT: CZ28638581 with its registered office at Sirotčí 605/10, 703 00 Ostrava-Vítkovice, the Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Registry maintained by the Regional Court in Ostrava under Section C, rider 36127 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "we"), provide you bellow with a summary of basic information on the processing and protection of your personal data by the Company.

2. What personal data do we process and how do we obtain it 

Personal data that we process and the extent of it varies mainly according to the purpose and services provided:

1. To conclude the purchase contract and process your order, we process identification data (name, surname, address), contact information (e-mail, phone number), company nameCIN/TIN, residence (if you are an entrepreneur).

2. In order to improve our services and offers, for marketing purposes incl. sending business messages and personalizing advertising, we process data on your visits to our website (cookies, IP address), data on your shopping habits, and use of our services (eg date, price, and name of purchased products, incl. communication with you)

Primarily, we obtain the personal data directly from you (especially when concluding a contract and during a contractual relationship) and also data based on your visits to our website (more in the Cookies section below).

We use your personal data mainly for the following purposes:

  1. to conclude a contract and fulfill your order
  2. communication with you and management of our contractual relationship
  3. analyzing, evaluating, and improving our customer service
  4. resolution of your reclamations and complaints
  5. fulfilling our legal obligations
  6. with your consent, to inform you about changes and news in provided products and services and our personalized offers.

We store your personal data for as long as one of the purposes stated above lasts and then only for the time and under the conditions in accordence with the law.

In the case of granting consent for marketing purposes (including possible profiling for the purpose of offering suitable goods and services, and processing cookies), this period is 10 years from the granting of consent or its renewal. Otherwise, the processing time results from the purpose of processing or is determined by law.

4. Lawful basis for processing personal data

The lawful basis that allows us to process your personal data depends on the purpose for which we process the personal data. Therefore, in a specific case, we may process your personal data without your consent because:

  1. it is necessary for the purposes of concluding or fulfilling the contract with you
  2. it is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations (eg accounting and taxes)
  3. it is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests (eg in connection with the assertion of claims from concluded contracts or in connection with the analysis and improvement of our services)

With your consent, we may process your personal data for marketing purposes, ie our product offers, information about news, or other business messages, by sending it to your e-mail address and using personalized marketing and remarketing. You can withdraw your consent to this use of your personal data at any time by sending information on the withdraw of consent to our e-mail info@hodinky-365.com or in the footer of the advertising email.

5. Whom we share your personal data with

We may provide your personal information to:

  1. service providers who provide us with their services related to our activities, in particular carriers, intermediaries of your payments, persons assisting us with the administration of contracts and your claims, or persons printing and delivering documents
  2. other persons in accordance with the law (eg documents for tax offices in accordence with the law, police in the criminal investigation process, etc.)

6. What are cookies, and how do we use them

Cookies are small data files that are necessary for the proper functioning of the site, and which we, therefore, place on your computer, like most websites. They are text files that websites store on your computer or mobile device the moment you start using these pages. The pages thus remember the actions and settings you have made on them for a certain period of time - for example, the contents of the shopping cart. It means that you do not have to re-enter this information when you revisit the site or switch between sections of the site.

We also use cookies to collect statistical data and personalize ads so that we can further improve our website and improve the services we offer.   1. the right to clear, transparent and comprehensible information about how we use your personal data and what your rights are;

  2. the right to access the personal data and the provision of other information related to their processing by the Company;

  3. the right to correct incorrect and incomplete personal data;

  4. the right to delete your personal data, especially if (i) they are no longer needed for further processing; (ii) you have withdrawn your consent to the data processing; (iii) you have legitimately objected to their processing; (iv) they were processed illegally; or (v) they must be deleted in accordance with the law;

  5. the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if (i) you attack the correctness of personal information until we verify its accuracy; (ii) processing is illegal; (iii) we do no longer need them, but you do need them to assert your legal claims or (iv) you object to their processing until we verify if our legitimate reasons outweigh your interests;

  6. the right to object to the processing of your personal data if we process it (i) for direct marketing purposes or (ii) for the purposes of our legitimate interests;

8. How we protect your personal information

To ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, which is extremely important to us, we use technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access and misuse of data, to ensure the security of our IT systems and data recovery in the event of an incident. We regularly evaluate and update all precautions.

The processing of personal data takes place in electronic information systems, which are subject to physical, technical, and procedural control. In order to protect data, we have a security mechanism in place, including technical, organizational, and personnel precautions, and we also require the same level of protection from our processors.
