We've waited a really long time for this to happen and it's finally here. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 NFC, version, with which you can finally pay even in the Czech republic, is available on the European market.

The trend of paying via a phone or a watch is rising with each day and it's becoming almost the standard way of paying. When it comes to paying with a watch, the choice used to be simple for a long time. Apple, Garmin or Fitbit. During next month, the Mi Smart Band 6 NFC version, with which you can pay even in the Czech republic, should be available on the market.

What can we expect from the Mi Band 6 and which banks will support the NFC feature?

The band's functions will be completely identical with the classic Mi Smart Band 6 version. So, we can expect heart rate detector, sleep monitoring, pedometer, stress monitoring, etc. The biggest difference is the NFC feature for European market.

So far, in the Czech republic, anyone with Mastercard issued by ČSOB can now fully use this function to pay. In the following days, this function should be available for clients of the Curve card and mBank. Slowly, every bank in the Czech republic should support this function.

„I am very happy that our fans can usually pay in stores from today with the help of their favorite sports bracelet Xiaomi Mi Smart Band, which comes with NFC in a new version. As an active athlete, I know how imporant this feature is. I can go jogging in peace and I don't have to decide where to store my card or money. User comfort, the addition of new services and the continuous improvement of existing ones are among the cornerstones of Xiaomi's philosophy," explains Guojun Gao, director of the Czech branch of Xiaomi.

I believe that this news will make many people smile, and when it comes to the price of the band, it should be only about a hundred crowns (€ 3.9) higher than the price of the version without NFC. Basically, these will be the cheapest 'watches' that you can pay with available. Viva la revolution!
